Recreational In-House Soccer

Our In-House Recreational soccer program is a non-competitive environment where children get basic, introductory soccer training and play scrimmages against other RSA Rec teams. Rec teams and leagues are administered by the Richfield Soccer Association for the members of our community.

RSA Rec soccer is available for children entering kindergarten through 6th grade. Practices and games are scheduled twice per week at a local Richfield park. All teams are coached and managed by volunteers.

Rec leagues are offered in both the spring and fall seasons. The spring season begins in May and runs through the end of June. The fall season begins in September and runs through mid October.

Volunteers are a vital part of our recreational program. We can always use parents or older siblings to coach or manage a team. Soccer experience is helpful, but not necessary. Please consider volunteering. The quality or our program depends on it.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Rec Soccer Program is always looking for volunteers who can help in the following ways:

  • Become a Coach for your child's team! A great opportunity for older siblings too. No soccer experience is required (RSA will provide resources).
  • Be a Team Manager to help the coach with logistics and communications with other parents
  • Help on game day as a Site Coordinator, setting up and tearing down fields, and supervising games as needed.
  • We are also currently in need of a Rec Director! This is an RSA Board position, which offers additional benefits and discounts.
